Electronic Signature Disclosure
Effective July 20, 2026
Kanri offers you the option to sign documents electronically instead of on paper. Before you consent to sign electronically, please read this disclosure carefully. It explains your rights, and what is required to receive, access, and keep electronic records.
1. Consent to Electronic Signatures and Records
By checking the consent box on a signing page, you agree that your signature, and the resulting signed document, may be created, communicated, and stored electronically, and that your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your handwritten signature. You also agree that Kanri and the school or organization requesting your signature ("School") may provide you with notices and disclosures related to the signed document electronically, rather than on paper.
2. Your Right to a Paper Copy
You have the right to receive a paper copy of any document you sign electronically. After signing, you can download a PDF copy of the signed document and its certificate of completion at any time using the link provided in your confirmation email, or by contacting the School directly. If you would like a physical paper copy mailed to you, contact the School using the information on their Kanri lead page, or reach out to Kanri support for help identifying the right contact. A School may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of printing and mailing a paper copy, if applicable.
3. Your Right to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw your consent to sign or receive records electronically at any time, before or after signing a specific document, by notifying the School in writing (including by email). If you withdraw consent before completing a signature, the School will provide the document to you on paper instead. Withdrawing consent does not affect the legal validity of any document you already signed electronically before withdrawal, and does not impose any fee.
If you need help identifying how to contact a School, or if a School is unresponsive, you may contact Kanri support for assistance.
4. Updating Your Contact Information
It is your responsibility to keep your email address and other contact information up to date with the School, so that electronic notices, verification codes, and signed-document copies reach you. You can update your contact information by notifying the School directly.
5. Hardware and Software Requirements
To access, view, sign, and retain electronic records, you need:
- A device with an up-to-date web browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) and an active internet connection;
- A valid email address capable of receiving messages and links;
- Software capable of opening PDF files (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader, or your browser's built-in PDF viewer) to view and retain your signed document and certificate of completion; and
- Sufficient storage on your device, or access to cloud storage, if you wish to save a copy of the signed document.
These requirements may change over time as browser and software standards evolve. If your ability to access electronic records changes, or you are unable to open the documents sent to you, please contact the School or Kanri support so that a paper copy can be arranged instead.
6. Confirming You Can Access This Format
By proceeding to sign electronically, you confirm that you are able to access this disclosure and the document you are signing in the electronic format in which they are provided (for example, by having opened and viewed the document on the signing page before signing).
7. Scope
This disclosure applies to any document you sign electronically through Kanri's platform on behalf of, or in connection with, a School. It supplements, and does not replace, the consent statement presented on each individual signing page, Kanri's Terms of Service, and Kanri's Privacy Policy.
8. Questions
If you have questions about this disclosure or electronic signing on Kanri, contact Kanri support.
